Questions about the booking of tickets

You can book concert tickets under the sub-item "Concerts & Packages". To do so, select the desired date and number of tickets, fill in the required fields, accept our Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy and select your desired payment method to be forwarded to the payment process. Payments are made via the payment service providers mpay24 or Adyen. Your payment information is not stored on www.palaceconcertsvienna.com. After booking, you will receive an email confirming your booking.

Attention: The confirmation of the booking is not a valid ticket. With the confirmation you can pick up your ticket during opening hours at the Reservation Centre at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery. For more see point 6 "How do I get my ordered tickets?". In case of a package booking, please note the information directly in the product description under the point "collection of tickets".

The categories refer to the seating for the concert. The categories VIP, A, B and C form the front, middle and back areas respectively.

 

Please check your credit card number again in case of a payment error.

The security of your data is important to us. The entire site www.palaceconcertsvienna.com is provided with an SSL certificate. Payments are made via the payment service providers mpay24 or Adyen. Your payment information is not stored on www.palaceconcertsvienna.com. The payment service providers also use an SSL certificate for communication.

 

You have several options: You are also welcome to purchase concert tickets and packages directly on site at our Orangery office. Payment can be made there in cash or with an ATM card. Alternatively, you can contact our reservations team on +43 1 812 50 04 -0 or by e-mail at office@palaceconcertsvienna.com and pay by cash in advance (bank transfer).

 

When you place your order, you can choose whether you want to collect the cards in person or have them sent to your home address. Local collection costs nothing extra, shipping is charged at €9.90 per order.

If you wish to collect your tickets, you can do so at any time during our opening hours at our office in the Orangery or directly before the concert at the box office. If you book a package, please note the information directly in the product description under the point "collection of tickets ".

The ordered tickets are deposited for you under your name in the office or at the box office, please have your digital booking confirmation ready when collecting them.

 

Please check your spam folder and look for the confirmation.

If you have not received a confirmation, please contact our reservation centre team at +43 1 812 50 04 -0 or by e-mail at office@palaceconcertsvienna.com, stating your name and contact details. We will immediately check whether we have received your order.

Due to different mail delivery times, your shipment may be delayed slightly in exceptional cases, please be patient until delivery. If your shipment does not arrive 7 working days (in Austria) or 10 days (outside Austria) after you have received our shipping confirmation by e-mail, please contact us by e-mail at office@palaceconcertsvienna.com. Longer shipping times are common, especially for international shipments.

Please note that replacement tickets can only be issued and given out on site - re-sending is not possible.

These discounts are ONLY available when purchased on site at the reservation centre or at the box office. Children's tickets are available up to the age of 12, student tickets only on presentation of a valid student identification up to the age of 27, tickets for people with disabilities on presentation of a disability identification.

 

Tickets cannot yet be printed out independently. We will print your tickets upon presentation of the booking confirmation at the reservation centre at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery or the box office at the concert venue.

Our vendors are equipped with a mobile phone and a printer. Our official sales app is on this mobile phone. To make sure you are booking with our official street sales staff, please ask to see the sales app.

 

The discount applies only to full-price tickets for the concert (no packages, cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions). Buy online at www.palaceconcertsvienna.com, at the reservation centre at Schönbrunn Orangery or from the mobile street sales team and receive your discount back in cash at the box office upon presentation of your Vienna City Card.

 

Questions about the concert

At our concerts there is free choice of seating within the category. Therefore, book the category in which you would like to sit and on site the "first come, first serve" principle applies. Admission to the concert hall begins half an hour before the concert starts.

 

Our dress code is "Smart Casual" - appropriate attire for the occasion is recommended.

 

Yes, our concert halls have a concert bar where various drinks can be consumed before the concert and during the intermission. The consumption of drinks and snacks is only permitted in the bar area, not in the concert hall itself.

 

Our concerts last approx. 1 hour 45 minutes; this includes an intermission.

 

No, there is no minimum age for attending the concert. (The visit is free of charge for children up to the age of 3 if they sit on the lap of the adult accompanying them). However, it is not permitted to take a stroller into the concert hall. It can be left at the cloakroom by arrangement.

 

No, no animals are allowed in the concert hall, with the exception of qualified assistance dogs.

 

For copyright reasons, the recording of sound, photo and video recordings as well as other recordings during the concert are not permitted.

You are welcome to take pictures for private purposes before or after the concert.

Yes, the Orangery and Schönbrunn Palace are subject to a legally prescribed cloakroom obligation in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Event Venues Act (§ 12). It is officially stipulated that coats, jackets and other overclothing, as well as bulky backpacks and umbrellas, must be handed in at the cloakroom. The cloakroom fee is 1€ per person and item.

 

Yes, our concert halls are all barrier-free. Please announce wheelchair seating in advance.

 

There is a taxi rank directly in front of the Orangery Schönbrunn. After the end of the concert, there are plenty of taxis available in front of the entrance to Schönbrunn Palace Orangery.

 

A chargeable APCOA car park is located directly opposite the Orangery.

 

We are constantly adapting the product to the current security measures to contain the Corona pandemic. Therefore, there may be minor deviations, we try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

There are currently no restrictions for concert events in Austria (as of April 2023).

Disinfectants are available.

Questions about the packages

You can select your restaurant in the booking process on the website. All restaurants are located near the concert venue, within walking distance. For more detailed information about the restaurants, please see the descriptions in the restaurant selection in the booking process.

Please note: the specified palace tour time of your package must be strictly adhered to. If you are late, your ticket will be invalid.

You will visit the palace with an audio guide after the official closing time of the palace. Please be at the main entrance of the palace (no. 3 on the map) 15 minutes before the start of the tour. One of our staff members will meet you there.

The tour is available in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Serbian, Ukrainian.

Groups of 20 people or more can enjoy a guided tour on request. Find out about the costs and possible times by emailing office@palaceconcertsvienna.com.

Please collect your voucher from our office at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery in time so that you have enough time to visit the Christmas Market. You can find our office opening hours here. For Christmas Market opening hours, please refer to the product description or our website.

 

If you have booked a Christmas Market package including palace tour, we recommend that you collect your voucher from the Orangery by 5:00 PM at the latest, as you must be at the meeting point for the audio guide tour by 6:45 PM.
